  • Carolyn Holland, RN

As a Registered Nurse and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist for 33 years, Carolyn has cared for people who were suffering. This work deepened her understanding of vulnerability.

In her own life, Carolyn has experienced profound loss, which stranded her on the edge of sorrow, not knowing if she would survive. Carolyn’s path towards healing emerged when she turned to psychedelic-assisted therapy. These experiences, both gentle and challenging, helped her cultivate self-compassion and built a bridge from anger to forgiveness. She now understands grief not as something to “get over,” but as a powerful teacher that can result in transformation. Having personally experienced the openness that psychedelics enable, Carolyn believes that natural medicine can guide others to their path towards resilience and becoming more whole.

As a licensed clinical facilitator at NeuroBloom, Carolyn’s practice is grounded in safety, presence, and alignment with the Zendo Project’s guiding principles. She creates a calm, supportive environment where clients feel safe to turn inward and trust the process. She offers a steady, non-directive presence, honoring each person’s inner healing intelligence and allowing their experience to unfold naturally. She supports clients in reframing challenging experiences—not as “bad trips,” but as potential gateways to profound new perspectives.

With certificates in Palliative Care and Grief Counseling, Carolyn brings both clinical training and lived experience, supporting clients with empathy as they move toward clarity, connection, and peace.
